Primary Therapy:

  • Symptoms occurring as a result of scuba diving related illness (decompression sickness).
  • Carbon monoxide poisoning.
  • Occurrence of air bubbles in the blood circulation (air or gas embolism).

Secondary Therapy:

  • Enhancement of healing selected chronic wounds, including diabetic wounds.
  • Radiation tissue damage.
  • Circulation concerns regarding flaps or grafts (plastic surgery).
  • Flesh eating disease (necrotizing soft tissue infection).
  • Crush injury, compartment syndrome, other acute traumatic ischemias.
  • Serious thermal burns.
  • Infected bone (chronic refractory osteomyelitis).
