Patients must be referred to HBOT Clinics from their physician or surgeon. This may be done by faxing the required referral form (HBOT Referral Form; Portable Document Format) directly to HBOT Clinics.
Upon referral, HBOT Clinics will contact the patient to schedule an appointment for assessment by one of our physicians. The assessment includes a physical examination for contra-indications to hyperbaric therapy (see: Assessment). An application for funding is then made to the relevant regional health region to cover the cost of therapy and the referring physician is contacted to discuss the treatment plan.
