Patients must be referred to HBOT Clinics from their physician or surgeon.  This may be done by faxing the required referral form (HBOT Referral Form; Portable Document Format) directly to HBOT Clinics.  Please be sure to include the patient’s contact information, reason for the referral, and any relevant test or lab results. Upon referral, HBOT Clinics will contact the patient to schedule an appointment for assessment by one of our physicians.  The assessment includes a physical examination for contra-indications to hyperbaric therapy (see: Assessment).  An application for funding is then made to the relevant regional health region to cover the cost of therapy and the referring physician is contacted to discuss the treatment plan.
